Six more weeks of winter?

According to Punxsutawney Phil. I don't think that what a Largish sized rodent back east gets scared of has any bearing on the weather in Washington state. My Roses already have a few buds on them.

Back to the WIPs. This is the first of a pair of extra-long fingerless mitts to protect my hands from the cold steering wheel when I'm driving. The second one is about half finished. I should get it done just in time to put them away for next year, as I already don't need them. It hasn't been cold enough for me to not want to grab the steering wheel without protections since it snowed in Dec. Well, at least they'll be done.
