WIPs not UFOs

It occurred to me a few nights ago that I should be saying I have too many WIPs, a I work on most of them at least a little, so they are, in fact, in progress, and not just sitting around unfinished. That being said, here are a few more.

I have, not one, but three more scarves in the works, though the one on the far right doesn't get worked on very often, and could be said to be a UFO. I remember mentioning a while back that I had never knitted a scarf to completion, until 2008 when I finally finished one. Well, I have finished one since then, a long Harry Potter scarf in Slytherin colors for Kimber's B-day this last year. It turned out very nicely, and so I decided to do one for myself in Ravenclaw colors, since I seem to end up in Ravenclaw when I take the "Which House are You?" tests. That is the scarf on the left. The scarf on the right is intended for Kim, if I ever get it done. It is done with yarn that I spun out of some beautiful roving that I picked up at Faire this last year. When I finished it, it just sort of screamed Male, and I only had 4 ozs. which is about enough for a scarf. I've been playing with the cables in the middle on this one. The one of the on the bottom is a skinny eyelash yarn scarf, just garter stitch, and I only knit on it when I don't want to knit on anything else,(including dishcloths) , so it may never get done. This would not break my heart.
There are still more. ( I did say I had too many) Tune in Next time.

Oh, and Happy Birthday Eric!

I know I should know, but what's a WIP and a UFO (I presume it's not an unidenified foreign object). Jh

Sorry Joan,

WIP stands for Work In Progress and UFO in this context is Un-Finished Object.
