Spring Break.

Well, it's the beginning of Spring Break here. Both kids are home, ARM is still asleep. We had faire rehearsal over the weekend, but as Kim was out of town at a gaming convention, I took ARM with me. He normally doesn't go to rehearsal, he finds it over-whelming. But he did very well on Sat. He mostly just hung out in the lobby of the rehearsal space and played on his laptop. While I'm sure that some would say this is not a good thing, for me this is evidence of growing coping skills, even if it is avoidance. He asked to bring his laptop when I said he had to go, which tells me he was planning a little ahead. He knew he would be over-whelmed and bored, and didn't want that to happen.
My arm is better, and I have been getting some knitting done. Kim took time from his busy gaming schedule at the convention to visit one of the largest used book stores on the west coast, and he bought me a book on felted crochet, thinking that might be easier on my arm. I found on pattern that I've already begun. I'll post pictures as it goes along.
