My Felted Bag

Okay, here they are. Pictures of my felted bag.

This is it before felting, with the flap down.

And this is the body of the bag. Note the color work, not just stripes, not duplicate stitch, but honest to goodness real stranded color work, which I have not be able to get with the right tension until this project. Woot!

And this is the front down after felting,

And this is body of the bag after felting. Unfortunately, it managed to develop a protrusion on the left side of the bag, and I couldn't get it to go away. Oh well, it will still serve it's purpose, which is to transport projects and stuff.

On the Faire side, we had our first Queen's show rehearsal last night. I took pictures, (when I could) and will be posting them over the next few weeks, along with explanations of who they are and why they are at Greenwood Faire. However, I have to post this next picture. It is more indicative of the antics that go on at our rehearsals. Marjorie told Steve, (the guy in the green) to just have a seat anywhere, so Steve walked over to Kim ( in the baseball cap) and sat down in his lap. There are days when you have to watch what you say around Greenwood.

Oh, and I think the mouse is finally dead. It appeared to be intact, however, so it may just have finally expired from accumulated shock.
