Ramblings

I should be blogging more I guess, but... Today is election day, and I'm rather concerned about the outcome. Kim says Obama is going to win Big time, but...
I have gotten out all my knitting magazines, and I'm going through them one by one, cutting out patterns that I like, that I might want to make something similar too, or that Kimber likes. The individual patterns are going into sleeve protectors and then into a binder, and I'm getting rid of about 3/4 of each magazine, shrinking the room needed for storage considerably.
I've also got several knitting projects in the works. I knit on one for quite a while yesterday, as I sat with Kimber in the dentist's, while she had have very first root canal. She was very brave, and just sat there and took it. When she did say anything it was a matter of fact "ow" No yelling, no crying, and when there was a mix up with her pain pills at the pharmacy, she said, "I'll deal." Honestly, I think she was channeling her great-grandmother just a smidge.
